hello there!

an awful lot has changed since i last posted! including my blog getting a much needed makeover...
but i still love bunnies and i still love drawing, that's one thing we can always count on.

for andy

♥ I love you to the stars and back

I haven't blogged in a while, not only that I also have not been drawing as much as I should be.
In fact I haven't been drawing at all, not even a little bit and it's making me sad.
My reason is that I just don't have time.

Isn't that the silliest excuse you've ever heard?

I have so many ideas in my head that my fingers are just itching to put onto a page and today I decided I was going to make time. Sure my room needs cleaning and there's a pile of washing to be done before work but those things will always be there.
Right now creativity is calling.

make time for the things you love, don't waste your life doing the things you hate.

midnight animal troupe

"the cat had such sparkling eyes that they shone like a torch, the dog barked and acted as sentinel, the cock crowed to frighten the lions, the parrot chattered so loudly that people thought a great company of persons must be talking, and thus robbers left a free passage to our travellers, and the sheep walking a few paces in advance, prevented her falling into the big holes he himself had some trouble in avoiding."The Pigeon and the Dove from The Fairy Tales of Madame D'Aulnoy

Hello there friends! I have been hiding, but I'm back again and I have a new illustration to share with you! "midnight animal troupe" is the partner to "the best of friends" which you can see in my previous post. I really enjoyed drawing them both, I think I'd like to do more childrens book illustrations in the future.
I also have a new scanner and new mac so you can expect to see a lot more posts from me from now on! as soon as i figure out how they work...

watership down

we were given a book cover assignment to do in class, we were to create an illustration and font. i chose watership down... surprised?

if you haven't read it already you should, especially if you like bunnies. however it is quite sad. when i was small my mum bought me the movie to watch, but then she wouldn't let me see it for years because she was afraid i would cry.
smart move mum.

what's new pussycat?

he's finally finished, i hope you like him.
maybe i'll draw a bunny next...

what do you think?

sweet beats
